Back-to-School Mom Group
*Every Tuesday, 10-11:30am for the month of September*
Simply Put, Moms Need Other Moms.
There is a familiar proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child.” There is such truth to this statement! We, as humans, are meant to parent cooperatively. We need the support, guidance, and connection with other parents to navigate the toughest job there is.
The goal of this group is to help fill your village and be a source of support on what can be a lonely journey in today’s society. This group will improve your confidence in your parenting skills and comfort with your decisions. We can be a sounding board for your struggles, fears, and worries.
Connecting with other moms also struggling with lack of sleep, behavior issues, constant chores, and demands helps you feel more normal. We will celebrate your victories as a mom, and support you in your struggles. We will laugh with you, cry with you, and hold you up when you feel lost.

Why A Support Group?
Women, in particular, need regular social connection and validation. These social interactions have become fewer and fewer in our modern culture. Instead, moms stay indoors in separate homes with little adult conversation, even with neighbors.
Moms’ group offers support, caring, and connection, an escape from the daily monotony, and a place to make friends.
In our moms’ group we accept all differences and encourage learning through others experiences. No matter what stage of parenting you are in, or what parenting choices you make, group has something for you. We make it clear that each family has to make the best choices for them, and their situation, and we respect those choices.
